Emmer Green Pre-school is a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation run by a committee of Parents. The committee are responsible for reviewing both policy and practise, running the business side of the pre-school, fundraising and for the employment and appraisal of members of staff.

There are three named positions on the committee: Chairperson, Secretary and
Treasurer, and a maximum of nine other members, but we need all our parents to be involved. We value your ideas and help in whatever way we can give it.

The AGM is held in the autumn and it is a requirement of the pre-school that parents attend this meeting. Written apologies should be sent in, if circumstances do not allow you to attend .

There are many opportunities for parents to help pre-school in other ways. Any help is welcome, so if you have a special skill, please speak to the Supervisor or Committee Chair. We will put your skill to good use!

If you have any queries or want to join the Committee please feel free to contact the Chair. Remember, the pre-school would close without a committee to run it!
